Many Ghanaian medical students who were based in Ukraine for their studies have migrated back to their home country due to Russia's annexation of Ukraine's borders.
Majority of these students are now in a dilemma as to how to proceed with their medical studies. Ukraine has, however, converted to virtual training for its students but the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana says such a model is ineffective for the nature of the medical and dental programmes and have cautioned Ghanaian students not to enroll.
Joy News understands a meeting has been scheduled tomorrow to discuss the modalities to adopt these students into the various public universities so they could continue their studies.
