Some members of the Heaven Way Church in Weija on Saturday accused their leader, Evangelist Mama Pat, popularly known as ‘Nana Agradaa’, of cleverly deceiving them and running away with their monies.
According to the aggrieved congregants, 'Nana Agradaa' had earlier promised to double their monies through her special spiritual endowments.
Some of them who were spotted in the viral videos intimated that they had given huge sums to priestess, ranging from GHC1,000 to GHC20,000.
Police later arrested the accused person and has kept her in custody while investigations go on.
Many such incidences have happened in the past and ponzi schemes continue to surge in the country.
Tonight, PM Express will discuss the subject of Ponzi schemes and what can be done against such acts of deception.
