The Chief Executive Officer of Last Two Records, Da’ Hammer, has announced the death of his father.
Taking to his social media handles Da' Hammer, born Edward Nana Poku Osei, stated that he was not prepared to receive the call telling him of his father’s passing on Sunday, April 30.
However, he takes comfort in the fact that his father lived his life well.
“Even though 30th April 2023 will forever remain one of the saddest days of my life, the memories of my childhood up until now seem to have the upper hand,” the music producer wrote.
Appreciating his father for the role he played in his life, Hammer wrote, “thank you for raising us right. Goodbye, Daddy. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
Hammer also shared a photo of his father surrounded by their family alongside his post.
Today I received that dreaded phone call no one can ever quite be prepared for… but after seeing my dad resting so peacefully in his bed, all I could see was a life well lived.
