Tang Palace Hotel has held a grand event to mark its 8th Anniversary celebration, hosting its clients and partners to a memorable cocktail and dinner event.
It was a remarkable evening of fireworks as Management and Staff were joined by the hotel’s clients/partners first to a networking session and cocktail followed by dinner. There was a raffle draw to reward clients and prizes included a weekend stay among others.
Welcoming Guests, the General Manager, Sajid Ali Khan said the hotel was glad to celebrate this incredible journey with staff, clients, and partners after what he described as a challenging 8 year journey.
“Almost 2 to 3 years Covid-19 interrupted our services but for the hard work of the entire staff and the loyalty of our clients, we are here today with great success.
“Throughout this period, we have hosted several important guests like Heads of State. We are proud of winning many awards both local (4-Star hotel of the year for 4 Consecutive times by the Ghana Tourism Authority) and International with the recent one at the just-ended International Travel Awards held in Dubai as the Facility with the best Chinese Cuisine – City Level in the Restaurant & Food industry.
In his address, Chief Executive Officer of the Tang Palace Hotel, Mr. Tang Hong said the hotel embarked on this adventure with a vision to create an exceptional hospitality experience born out of passion, dedication and a commitment to excellence.
“Today we can proudly say we have not only achieved our goals but surpassed it the way we couldn’t have imagined. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey, the exceptional team providing our Guests with exceptional service, our guests for their loyalty and our partners/suppliers for their support”.
Tang Palace Hotel he assured aside its future plans of expansion and exploring other avenues will be mindful and responsible to green environment by making sustainability a core of its operation.
Invited Guest, Kwasi Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Tourism Authority said the authority was proud of the partnership with Tang Palace Hotel and especially acknowledges the hotel’s role in job creation, service excellence and being a good corporate citizen.
The Ghana Tourism Authority he informed in a bid to improve standards and ensure the regulatory part of its business is topnotch launched a service chapter that seeks to regulate the hospitality service properly.
“We do periodic service assessment and currently we are running a training program for front desk staff of various facilities and also doing some francophone language training for them to learn basic French language since we are surrounded by Francophone countries”.
