The Vice Chancellor for the Ho Technical University (HTU), Prof Ben O. Honyenuga, has commended the school for their remarkable hospitality and culinary expertise.
Prof Honyenuga, who made the comments at the grand finale of the Joy Prime Big Chef show held at the JCR of the university in Ho, said HTU has consistently demonstrated its culinary skills and proven to be the best among other universities in the country.
"HUT has long been known for its commitment to the culinary arts and today's event is a testament to our dedication to nurturing hospitality talent," Prof Honyenuga said.
He noted that HTU has a remarkable history of winning awards and their culinary and hospitality programme being their niche area, has consistently stood out for its excellence.

Prof Honyenuga said the Ho Technical University has not only trained skilled chefs but has also installed in the students, the values of creativity, precision quality, and a deep appreciation for hands-on skill training in other disciplines
"As we witness the grand finale, let us remember that today is not just about competition; it is a celebration of the culinary journey, it is a celebration of the immeasurable hours of practice, the innovation in the kitchen, and the dedication of each participant," Prof Honyenuga added.

Meanwhile, Ho Technical University emerged winner of the Joy Prime Big Chef Tertiary edition.
Students of the HTU were excited about the victory of their colleagues and hoped that the next season would favour them as well.
Earlier on all participants from the 3 universities were hosted by the Flavours Restaurant and Bars, at Ho Dome where they had drinks and charts with the organizers of the program, Joy Prime. They also had interviews with the Volta Premier FM in Ho as well as the Hilz FM in Adaklu
The CEO of the Flavours Restaurant and Bars Mrs. Jenifer Baiden Gudoo pledged her support to Joy Prime and hopes to host the winners of the program at her restaurant for an after-party celebration.
