The Sung Biela Foundation has extended a helping hand to over 500 aged, widows, and persons with disabilities across the Kusaug Traditional Area in the Upper East Region in a remarkable display of generosity.
The initiative, a part of the foundation's Empowerment & Humanitarian Projects, aims to spread love and bring cheer to those who need it the most during the festive season. This year's efforts focused on the Bawku Municipality, reaching out to the less privileged and significantly impacting their lives.
The scenes were heartwarming as the beneficiaries received support and assistance, their faces lighting up with smiles that reflected the true spirit of the season. The foundation believes in creating a ripple effect of kindness, and this annual initiative is a testament to that commitment.
"I had the pleasure of supporting over five hundred aged, widows, and persons with disabilities in the Bawku Municipality," shared the founder of Sung Biela Foundation, Hajia Zainab Awinbe. "It was inspiring to see them beaming with smiles. It's a season of love, and your contributions helped us to spread joy."
The success of "Creating Smiles" lies not just in the material support provided but in its emotional impact on the beneficiaries. The foundation goes beyond delivering necessities; it delivers hope, compassion, and a sense of belonging to those who may feel forgotten.
"For every blessing we received from the beneficiaries, your share is double because you gave," emphasized Hajia Zainabu. "I always make them know that it’s from donors and good people. Their generosity has created a chain reaction of kindness, and the beneficiaries are not only recipients but active participants in the cycle of giving."
As the foundation looks back on another year of making a difference in the lives of the less privileged, they extend heartfelt gratitude to all the donors, supporters, and well-wishers who made "Creating Smiles" possible.
"May God bless you and everything that concerns you. May your 2024 be exceptionally blessed. We are grateful," expressed one of the beneficiaries, 45-year-old, Monica Azumah acknowledging the collective effort that made this initiative a source of joy and hope for the community.
Sung Biela Foundation's commitment to creating smiles and fostering positive change serves as an inspiration for others to join in the spirit of giving, making the world a brighter and more compassionate place for all.
