Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim II, the overlord of Wassa Amenfi traditional area and his sub Chiefs, showed their appreciation for FC Samartex's impressive performance and historic feat by donating GHC100,000 and a cow to the team when the players and officials paid a courtesy call to the traditional council.
FC Samartex were crowned of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League on Sunday after wrapping up the title with two games to end the season.
The lads pulled off a vintage performance in the last game to record a 2-0 win over Accra Lions to close the 2023/24 season.
Tetrete together with his sub Chiefs pledged their support for the African campaign, demonstrating their commitment to their continued success.

This generous act will undoubtedly motivate the players and strengthen the bond between the team and the community.
The Timbers Giants will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League in the 2024/2025 season.
