Baba Musah’s 15th minute strike proved to be the winner for Samartex in their matchweek 31 clash against Bechem United on Sunday.
Samartex, who last week, saw their 5 game unbeaten run halted by Heart of Lions, were looking for an immediate response at home against Bechem United side that had lost 3 of their last 5 games before the encounter.
Musa struck after only 15 minutes on the clock to reward his side’s early dominance.
Christopher Ennin’s side continued to dominate and saw out an efficient 1-0 victory at the end of 90 minutes.
Ennin was nominated for the manager of the month for April, after his side’s fine showing in recent weeks.
The defending league champions grabbed four wins, one draw, and one defeat, scoring an impressive 12 goals (the most in the month) and conceding four in six matches in the month of April.
