Asante Kotoko shared the spoils with FC Samartex following a 1-1 draw at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in the Ghana Premier League.
The hosts took a 39th-minute lead with a fine low strike by Dramani Awuah.
Alhassan Munkuyali had a glorious chance to double the advantage, but Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare made a save to keep the deficit at 1-0.
The visitors, Kotoko, quickly restored parity inside two minutes in the second half, with their marksman Kwame Opoku netting his sixth goal of the season.
Dauka Saaka was close to putting Kotoko in the lead with an open-net chance but skied his effort.
Prosper Narteh Ogum's side sit at the top of the table with 38 points, which could change as fixtures come off on Sundays.
Meanwhile, Samartex occupy the ninth spot with 28 points.
Up next for Kotoko is a clash against Young Apostles, while Samartex take on Medeama SC.
