The Center for Maritime Affairs Ghana (CIMAG), has expressed its enthusiasm for the potential of Ghana's maritime sector, particularly the Blue Economy, which the think tank views as pivotal to the country’s economic growth and transformation.
As a leading institution in maritime affairs, both in Ghana and internationally, CIMAG firmly believes that the Blue Economy holds significant promise for creating jobs, driving economic development, and ensuring the long-term prosperity of the nation.

In congratulating the president-elect on his resounding victory, Albert Derrick Fiatui, Executive Director of CIMAG, shared the centre's optimism for the future under Mr John Mahama’s leadership. He stated, "We believe that President-elect Mahama’s leadership will foster meaningful growth and progress for Ghana’s maritime sector".
Mr Fiatui also highlighted CIMAG’s ongoing commitment to providing expert advice, research, and policy recommendations aimed at advancing the development of Ghana’s Blue Economy.
