Zoomlion Ghana Limited has been widely commended for its outstanding efforts in preparing the Black Star Square and key areas of Accra for the inauguration of President John Mahama on Tuesday, January 7.

The clean-up and beautification initiative by Zoomlion has been described as “par excellence” by attendees and citizens who marvelled at the transformation of the iconic venue and surrounding streets.
A Massive Undertaking
Zoomlion deployed over 500 personnel to execute a comprehensive clean-up and beautification exercise across major streets and ceremonial areas of Accra.

The company’s efforts included Cleaning and preparing the Black Star Square, landscaping with artificial turf to enhance the venue’s appearance, cleaning and sweeping Accra’s ceremonial streets, decorating traffic lights and trees with Ghana’s national colours and weeding road medians, desilting drains, and painting curbs, pavements, and pedestrian walkways.
The result was a sparkling, vibrant setting that perfectly matched the grandeur of the presidential inauguration.

A Stunning Transformation
The Black Star Square was transformed into a picturesque venue, with the lush artificial turf seamlessly blending with the square’s architectural majesty.
Visitors and dignitaries alike were impressed by the impeccable presentation of Accra’s ceremonial streets, which radiated national pride.

Zoomlion’s efforts have not gone unnoticed. Many have lauded the company’s ongoing dedication to Ghana’s cleanliness and environmental sustainability.
