Award-winning gospel musician Diana Hamilton has released a new single titled Me Nyankopon Papabi(My Good God), a heartfelt expression of gratitude to God for how far He has brought her and many others in life.
The track, which blends contemporary highlife with modern global sounds, was produced by renowned Ghanaian music producer Kaywa. It marks Hamilton’s third single of the year, following He Loves Meand My Praise.
The official music video was shot at the singer’s family home in Afful Nkwanta, a suburb of Kumasi. Directed by McWillies of Flashbak Media, the video brings to life Diana’s humble beginnings, using original props and settings that reflect her upbringing.
“This is a testimony of God’s goodness; a reminder that no matter your background, God can lift you to higher ground,” Hamilton shared during the release.
Kaywa, who has produced some of Diana’s most popular songs including Mo Ne Yo, W’asem and Work In Progress, continues his successful collaboration with the gospel icon in this new project.
Diana Hamilton, a nurse by profession, has grown into one of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel musicians. She rose to national prominence with songs such as Eye Woa, Yehowa Behwe and Mo Ne Yo, and in 2021, she made history as the first female gospel artist to win the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Me Nyankopon Papabi is now available on all major streaming platforms.
