Ghana’s rising volleyball stars, Justice Amoafo and Daniel Tettey, have qualified to represent the nation at two major international tournaments, the 2026 U18 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar and the 2025 U18 World Championship in Qatar.
The teenage duo made history after defeating Morocco to claim a bronze medal at the African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) U18 Beach Youth Development Cup, a result that not only secured a third-place finish but also guaranteed Ghana a slot at the Youth Olympics in Senegal.
Their qualification journey began earlier this year in Abidjan at the CAVB Zone 3 Nations Beach Volleyball Championship, where they earned a ticket to the U18 World Championship in Doha.
The Ghana Volleyball Association has praised the efforts of the coaching staff: Evans Lomotey, Seidu Ajanako, and Eden Chapnour for playing a key role in guiding Amoafo and Tettey to this milestone achievement.
