UBA Ghana has enhanced its prepaid card services by enabling customers to load their UBA Prepaid Cards directly from their Mobile Money (MoMo) wallets.
The new services provide a faster and more convenient way for customers to fund their Ghana cedi-denominated prepaid cards, making it easier for shop online, pay in-store and access a variety of visa-enabled services and portals globally.
"At UBA, we are committed to providing simple, secure, and innovative ways to banking," said Uzoechina Molokwu, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UBA Ghana.
"Introducing the Mobile Money as a source of funding for the prepaid card creates flexibility, convenience and control for the customer using their mobile device”, he added.
This service is available to all UBA prepaid card users. It supports UBA Ghana’s drive for financial inclusion and reliable banking solutions. The benefits of this enhancement allow users:
- Seamless loading of prepaid cards from MoMo wallets
- Global access to online and in-store shopping using the card
- Secure, cashless payments anytime, anywhere
This new option is part of UBA’s broader digital payment approach to provide customers with flexible tools for everyday banking.
