Coach Frimpong Manso has vowed to build a title-winning side for Nations FC following his appointment.
He has signed a two-year deal with the Kumasi-based club, replacing Kassim Mingle, who was sacked after a disappointing start to the season - winning just two of seven matches.
Manso, who led Bibiani GoldStars to a historic Ghana Premier League title last season, says he’s confident of repeating that success at his new club.
“Nations have always been fighting for the league [for the past two seasons], and it took the last two games of last season for GoldStars to win the title.
“We’ve also come to do our part and make sure we make a mark here [at Nations FC].
"What I believe in is to always try to build a team that is strong enough to win a title and a team that tries to play good football.”
Manso will be deputised by former Asante Kotoko player and ex-coach of Women’s Premier League side Ashtown Ladies, Aboagye Dacosta.
The 66-year-old will take charge of his first game against Bechem United on October 31.
The Abrankese-based side currently sit 12th on the league log with eight points.
