Ghana and Burkina Faso will represent the WAFU Zone B at the 2027 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations after the Stallions won the zonal championship.
Ghana already secured their place at next year’s continental tournament as hosts, with the competition set to kick off in February 2027.
The Black Satellites finished third in Group B behind eventual champions Burkina Faso and Nigeria.
Burkina Faso, meanwhile, secured the zone’s other qualification ticket after beating Nigeria 4-1 in the final.
The Stallions return to the continental stage after missing the 2023 and 2025 editions of the U-20 AFCON and will arrive in Ghana as WAFU B champions.
With Ghana already assured of a place as hosts and Burkina Faso taking the WAFU B qualification spot, the two West African nations will now prepare for the continental challenge next year for a spot at the World Cup.
