In a strategic partnership aimed at boosting smartphone accessibility in Ghana, MTN Ghana and Infinix Ghana have launched the Infinix Note 60 Series.
This initiative complements national efforts to increase affordable and quality smartphone ownership, currently estimated at 46-50% of the population, amidst mobile connectivity of over 110%. The launch ceremony took place at MTN Ghana's office in Accra.

The partnership aims to increase Ghanaians' access to modern smartphones, empowering more people to participate fully in the digital economy. To achieve this, prospective customers can purchase smartphones on credit with flexible repayment terms spanning 6 months.
Customers who purchase any device from the Note 60 Series and insert an MTN SIM card will receive 2GB of free data every month for six months. This offer will activate automatically once the device connects to the network.

Speaking at the launch, MTN Ghana's Devices Manager, Madam Abena Caesar, highlighted the significance of the partnership. "As the world accelerates into 5G and prepares for 6G, it's crucial we migrate more customers from 2G and 3G to 4G, enabling them to enjoy richer digital experiences," she noted. Caesar announced that the devices are available at all MTN showrooms nationwide.

Edith Asempah-Amanu, Retail Manager of Infinix Ghana, emphasized that the partnership seeks to create an ecosystem where great devices meet reliable internet connectivity, empowering consumers to maximize their digital experience.

She described the launch as a celebration of partnership and an opportunity to amplify their story and shape conversations around innovation
