Ghanaian events company AK24 Entertainment has recorded a major milestone in the United States with its organisation of 'R2Bees Live In Ohio', a sold out concert held at The Bluestone in Columbus on August 15, 2026.
The event, sponsored by LemFi, saw the Ghanaian music duo become the first African act to sell out the iconic Columbus venue, according to organisers.
R2Bees also became the first Afrobeats act to perform at The Bluestone.
The sold-out show marked a significant achievement for AK24 Entertainment, which brought the Ghanaian duo to Ohio for a headline performance that attracted a full house of fans.
The venue was filled throughout the evening as patrons turned out to see Paedae, also known as Omar Sterling, and Mugeez perform some of the duo's popular records.

The concert maintained a high level of audience engagement, with fans singing along to the performances and remaining on their feet throughout much of the headline set.
Following the event, AK24 Entertainment thanked ticket holders, supporters, sponsors and the teams involved in putting the concert together.
"What a night. What a moment. R2Bees Live In Ohio was one for the books," the organisers said in a statement shared after the concert.
R2Bees also acknowledged the response from the Ohio audience, writing on social media: "Thank you Ohio. Last night was craaaaazy."

The success of the concert adds to AK24 Entertainment's growing involvement in taking Ghanaian and African music acts to international audiences. By securing a sold out performance at The Bluestone, the company has further established its role in creating platforms for Ghanaian artistes within the United States.
With R2Bees Live In Ohio, AK24 Entertainment delivered an event that combined artist promotion, diaspora engagement and international exposure for Ghanaian music, while marking two notable firsts at one of Columbus' established live music venues.
