Problem? What problem?
Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku has laughed off speculation that he has a poor relationship with teammate Ahmed Toure.
Media reports had allegedly picked up a cold war between the two key players, but the veteran Kotoko midfielder says the comments came during a difficult time for the club when wins were not forthcoming.
"They are part of the game and I read them and laughed because it was a difficult time for the club and people wanted to find reasons for that.
The allegations centred around perceived jealousy on Jordan's part which apparently stemmed from Toure's high wages.
"I have never had a problem with Ahmed and we all were suffering due to the state of the club. I feel the stories were made up and they did not help the team nor the players involved," the player told Citi Sports.
Kotoko are chasing a domestic double after progressing in the FA Cup and also getting a recent boost in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
