The Black Stars have held their first training session ahead of their upcoming AFCON 2017 qualifier against Mauritius.
The team trained at the Jean Marc Guilliou Academy at Dodowa, near Accra.
Present at the session was debutant Bernard Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, Jonathan Mensah, Rabiu Mohammed, Christian Atsu as well as head coach Avram Grant.
Other members of the team are supposed to join in from Friday while Esperance star Harrison Afful will join the team after his club assignment in the CAF Confederations Cup against Accra Hearts of Oak on Saturday. as the Israeli tactician looks to his first AFCON qualification series in charge of the team.
Grant will have a chance to test his squad in a friendly game on Monday against the Hawks of Togo who are also preparing for a game against Liberia.
The Mauritius game on June 14 will be the team's first competitive game since losing a painful final to Cote d'Ivoire at the AFCON final in Equatorial Guinea earlier in the year.
