An abandoned five-storey church structure came crushing down Sunday afternoon at Apatrapa a town in the Ashanti region.
No casualties or fatalities were recorded.
Some residents told Luv News that for sometime they noticed some cracks in the building but ignored signs.
But before it came down Sunday at about 9:30am, “the building was shaking like a machine”, the woman explained.
Neighbors say the building collapsed 30 minutes after the about five occupants left the building to attend to their needs outside.
The building was sold out by a defunct Judgment Day church.
The Regional Minister has paid a visit to the collapsed site and orderd the demolition of the remaining part of the collapsed structure.
According to the Regional NADMO Coordinator Mr. Aninkorah Sie he has also called for assessment of other structures within the area.
