Junior sister of the late Kenneth Boakye Ansah has told DAILY GUIDE that 19-year-old Elizabeth Ackah had every intention of killing her brother because she carried a knife on her when she went to the house of the deceased. Angela Antwi said she was in the house when Elizabeth Ackah stormed the house in the company of her sister to kill her brother. “She came with a polythene bag that had kerosene in a Voltic Water container, matches, another bottle believed to contain acid and a new kitchen knife, but I did not know that was her intention of coming to the house, since I do not interfere in their affair,” she said. The suspected killer, she continued, had earlier come to the house but upon learning that the deceased was not yet in, went back and returned for the second time in the company of her sister, Rose Ackah. Speaking exclusively to DAILY GUIDE at their Darkuman Official Town residence, Angela Antwi said on Saturday, before the incident, Kenneth Boakye Ansah had told her not to allow Elizabeth to enter their house anymore. “He also told me to tell her he was not in the house anytime she came around,” she said. “Elizabeth brought a polythene bag in the house and left, so when my brother came and saw it, he ordered that I put it in the dustbin.” Angela Antwi said her brother then told her to be careful since Elizabeth had threatened to burn down his car, and destroy things in the house. When she returned for the second time in the company of her sister, it was to engage the deceased physically. “I left them outside whilst they were talking and I heard a shout from my brother for help.” She said, “I quickly rushed outside only to find my brother lying in a pool of blood whilst Elizabeth stood still by him holding the knife.” “She stabbed my brother in the abdomen and not the thigh as stated earlier,” she said. Angela Antwi said the two sisters, after committing the act, attempted escaping, but with the help of the area boys, they were apprehended and sent to the Darkuman Police Station. Meanwhile, the Kaneshie Divisional Commander, Chief Superintendent Michael Kportufe Avadetsi, has said his outfit is ready to put the two suspects before court. “We have taken the docket to the Attorney General for advice so they would be remanded for the police to gather evidence to charge them for murder.” It would be recalled that 19-year-old Elizabeth Ackah and her senior sister, Rose Ackah, were last Tuesday arrested by the Kaneshie Police for allegedly stabbing 32-year-old Kenneth Boakye Ansah to death. The deceased was an employee of Mantrak Ghana. Kenneth Boakye Ansah attracted the ire of his girlfriend of 5 months when he told her that he was no longer interested in the relationship. Elizabeth, in the company of her sister Rose, went to the house of the deceased during the general blackout which hit Accra a couple of days ago.
