Accra Hearts of Oak’s German-Turkish trainer, Can Van Li, is lamenting over what he describes as inexperienced crop of players he has had to work in a bid to save the club from relegation.
He says though he believes the players have individual brilliance, that is not enough to achieve the desired results.
Speaking on Nhyira FM’s Power Sports in Kumasi, Van Li said “I appreciate the players but the team needs more experienced legs looking at the club’s position on the league log but for individual skills and brilliance, they have”.
He added “we have a strong team, strong individual players but you know it’s not enough to be strong individually, we need to rather build a strong team and this will take us three years but this am trying to do it in some three months which is pressure”.
Hearts of Oak have not been in the best of form in the current season.
