The German-Turkish trainer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Can Vali, says finishing in the top four of the First Capital Plus Premier League will be a no mean achievement for his club.
The 53-year-old is optimistic of clinching the top four position should his side win their last game.
Can Vali says achieving the laurels will be football history in the making, considering the team’s initial abysmal position on the league log form the start of the season.
The tactician took the helm of affairs when Heats of Oak were flirting with relegation and with his appointment, the team have witnessed progress and are now boosting of 5th place on the league log in the ongoing FCPPL with a game to spare.
“We’re gunning to win our last game and that will surely seal the place for my club. We want to make football history for ourselves,” Can told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
The one–time continental club masters posted a hard fought victory against Berekum Chelsea as they won by 3-2 in match day 29 at Accra Sports Stadium.
The win saw them moving from 7th to 5th position on the log sheet. They face WAFA in their last fixtures for this year’s FCPPL competition.
