Former national security operatives who were dismissed after the Mills administration took office are threatening mayhem if the government fails to pay their gratuities within two weeks. Their spokesperson, Samuel Ansa tells Joy News the move has become necessary because of government’s refusal to deal with their case. He says the group has also lost confidence in the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice because it has failed to intervene. “One year exactly now that we received our termination of appointment letter. Up till now we have struggled, petitioned CHRAJ since November up till now nothing has come out of it. “The lawyer at CHRAJ has totally disappointed us. We dedicated ourselves, served this nation for five, six, seven to eight years. At the end of the day we have been dumped into the garbage,” he lamented.
