Five communities under the Ahanta West Mutual Health Insurance Scheme have been provided with satellite dishes as part of efforts aimed at networking service providers to ensure efficiency and prompt service delivery.The communities are Abora, Agona Nkwanta, Apowa, Princess Town and Discovxe.Mr Desmond Okine, Claims Manager, Ahantaman Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, told the GNA in an interview that the change over had improved the scheme’s operations in the area.The staff is able to process more identity cards, claims and attend to clients than before.
Mr Okine called for the inclusion of other health related problems or diseases that are not covered by the scheme, particularly prostate cancer.Source: GNA
