Some Ghanaians caught up in the crisis in Libya have decided to run home through the desert.
They are not waiting to be flown home by government because they do not have the patience when death is staring them in the face.
Over sixty of them are currently on their way to Ghana and they will enter through the Upper East Region.
Regional Minister Mark Woyongo who confirmed this to Joy News talks about plans to assist them.
He said his ministry is awaiting their arrival and will assist in bringing them to Accra.
He suspects the returnees must have used the same route to Libya and would have no problems finding their way back to Ghana.
There is an estimated eleven thousand Ghanaians in Libya and government has so far evacuated some six thousand of that number.
