Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has ruled himself out of the Ghana, DR Congo African Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
The FC Dnipro star is set to miss the match after sustaining an injury on Monday during the team’s training session at the Ohene Djan stadium.
According to him, he went to the hospital this morning and was told it will take three to four days for the injury to heal.
He believes his absence in Friday’s match is very frustrating but will rally behind the other players to victory.
He told Asempa Sports that, with the current crop of players in the Black Stars he is very optimistic of victory.
He called on Ghanaians to support the team as they look forward to demolishing their opponents on Friday.
The Black Stars will be leaving to Kumasi on Wednesday to continue preparations ahead of the CAN qualifier match with DR Congo on Friday.
