The Black Stars have been handed a painful 1-2 defeat by South Korea in an international friendly, Tuesday.
A late winner by South Korea handed coach Goran Stevanovic his first defeat in charge as trainer of the Black Stars.
Korea opened the account very early in the first half and defended relentlessly to keep the Stars attack at bay.
Superb saves by the Korean shot stopper, including an Asamoah Gyan penalty kick meant the Asians would end the half on high.
With Derek Boateng and Dominic Adiyiah in, the Stars mounted ceaseless pressure in the second half which culminated in an enthralling equalizer from Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan.
The Stars were sublime and fluid and pounded the goal area of the Asians but the goal keeper of the Taegeuk Warriors denied the Stars the much needed winner.
South Korea snatched a late winner courtesy another howler by Richard Kingson.
2-1 it ended in favour of the Asians who succeeded in getting their much needed revenge against the Black Stars.
They had lost on two occasions to the Black Stars.
