Former international Baba ‘Armando’ Adamu is expected to re-launch his career with Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The 31-year-old returned to the domestic league after two years in the ‘boondocks’ and indicated his desire to return to top-flight football.
The former Asante Kotoko striker has trained once with the Berekum-based side with a permanent move on the cards.
He grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons in the run up to the 2006 World Cup finals where he accused some officials of the Ghana federation of taking bribes from players for a place in the squad.
He has since issued a grovelling apology for the comments that somehow ended his international career prematurely.
