There are two potentially title-deciding games in the Spanish La Liga this weekend. Barcelona, who are two points behind leaders Real Madrid, welcome struggling Valencia to the Camp Nou. The Catalans are expected to go gun blazing after losing 2-1 at Deportivo La Coruna last week.
Barcelona’s main rivals Real Madrid cannot afford to drop points as they meet Ernersto Valverde’s Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames.
Third-placed Sevilla will turn attention to La Liga following their shocking UEFA Champions League exit. Jorge Sampaoli’s charges are the guests of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid at the Vicente Calderon.
Away from Spain and the 8-point lead of Juventus in Serie A will be under serious threat as the Old Ladies travel to the Luigi Ferraris. Juve’s last visit to the venue was a disaster as Maxi Allegri’s men suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Genoa.
In other games, AS Roma, who are second the table, welcome unpredictable Sassuolo to the Stadio Olympico while third-placed Napoli visit Empoli.
In Germany, Bayern Munich relish extending their lead at the top of the table. Carlo Ancellotti’s side, who are undefeated in their last 5 games, travel to Monchengladbach. In other games, RB Leipzig, who sit 10 points behind leaders Bayern Munich, go head-to-head with Bremen at the Weserstadion.
Third-placed Dortmund meet Ingolstadt at the Signal Iduna Park.

In France, AS Monaco are expected to make light work of Caen. The French League One leaders are fresh from qualifying to the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League at the expense of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. And PSG have a mountain to climb as they entertain fourth-placed Olympique Lyon at the Parc des Princess.
