Vice President of the Ghana Football Association has set the end of April as the deadline for the next Ghana coach to be announced.
The Association began their search of a new man at the helm of affairs few weeks back with the appointment of a six man committee.
With Ghana set for the next international outing in June, the GFA are looking to give the new coach at least two months to prepare for his first international assignment
And they have set the end of April for Ghanaians to know Avram Grant’s successor.
"All I can say for now is that over 100 coaches have applied for the Black Stars job," he told Asempa FM
"They will be shortlisted and go through an interview procedure before we settle on the new man.
"The committee will make recommendation to the Executive Committee who will have the final say on the report.
"We shall shortlist the names and those will be interviewed next week.
"If everything goes well, we can have the whole process completed latest April and we'll have a new coach in place."
Former coach Kwesi Appiah has been tipped as the favourite for the job.
