Football administrator for Kingfaisal FC and cattle owner at Agogo , Alhaji Grunsah has described the 14 day ultimatum given by National Security for the nomads to vacate Agogo in the Ashanti Region as an unfair. During a telephone interview on Multi TV’s BADWAM on the Adom Channel, Alhaji expressed worry about what he termed governments’ insensitiveness on the fate of Fulani herdsmen and their cattle in Agogo. ‘I am sad and I don’t have much to say. My problem is where do I take my cattle? If National Security is asking the nomads to move out of Agogo within 14 days, where do they go? He lamented, saying, I am not well; I am even in Accra, taking a rest from all the troubles we are facing at Agogo. National Security Coordinator Col. Larry Gbevlo Lartey has comfirmed that a special team was heading to the area to execute the forced eviction of the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle. However, Kontihene of Agogo, Nana Kwame Nti is in a hurry to eject the nomads and their cattle. ‘If I have given you a land to perch on it does not give you the license to rape my wife, daughters, and kill my children. It does not make sense. “The National security should expedite action on this issue so that residents of Agogo can have their peace of mind. We can’t wait for the 14 days ultimatum to end, we are tired,’ Nana insisted. He maintained that the atrocities of the nomads had become unbearable for residents of Agogo.
