The Food and Drugs Board has invited owners of Kumasi based Orackie Enterprise, which has been distributing an unregistered and substandard Protective Plus Dotted Condoms for questioning.
The fake condoms have no manufacturer’s name and address.
Head of Drugs Enforcement at the Food and Drugs Board, P.K Agyemang Duah, told Joy News the safety of the fake condom, which has a reddish packaging with white inscription, and a picture of a banana, cannot be guaranteed.
He said importers could be slapped with an administrative fine of twenty thousand Ghana cedis if found guilty.
