Ghana star Andre Ayew is set to work with a new manager at English Premier League club West Ham following the departure of underperforming coach Slaven Bilic.
The Croatian tactician has finally been sacked by the Hammers after taking only 9 points from the opening 11 games of the season.
There was some unrest in the West Ham camp after losing their first 3 games and conceding 10 goals in that run.
However, the fact that these 3 games were all on the road and the team’s hopeful home form gave Bilic some breathing space to pull some good results together.
Talks of Bilic’s dismissal intensified after their huge loss to Brighton & Hove Albion at home and Saturday afternoon’s loss to Liverpool sealed the Croatian’s fate.
A statement on the club website reads: “The Chairmen and board of West Ham United would like to place on record their thanks and gratitude to Slaven and his team for their services over the past two-and-a-half years, but believe a change is now necessary in order for the Club to move forward positively and in line with their ambition”
West Ham say Bilic's coaching assistants Nikola Jurcevic, Edin Terzic, Julian Dicks and Miljenko Rak have also left the club with immediate effect.
The club has already began the search for a new manager with rumors of Moyes being considered for the job.
