Staff of JWT Ghana, one of the country’s leading advertising agencies, have undertaken a 5-day visit to Johannesburg, South Africa for their 2012 retreat which is part of the company’s an annual activities.
Managing Director of JWT Ghana, Don Obilor, told a section of the media that this year’s visit to South Africa was part of the activities marking the 10th anniversary of the agency.
“2012 will be challenging and exciting, and I believe the team would need a trip such as this to energize them for the year ahead as well as offer us fresh perspectives from other cultures and environments to make us better at what we do,” Mr. Obilor added.
Major highlights of the trip included indoor sessions to plan for the New Year, a visit to major tourist sites in and around Johannesburg and also a visit to the Johannesburg office of JWT, where the team interacted with their South African counterparts.
They have since returned home.
