The Black Stars players took to social media to call for an end to the inhumane acts ongoing in the Mediterranean region.
Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan alongside teammates Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid, striker Majeed Waris and Jonathan Mensah, who plays for Columbus Crew have all condemned the act of slavery in Libya.
Following a shocking footage of young African migrants being sold for as low as 400 dollars in a slave market located in the north African region, the Ghanaian stars have joined the world to decry the buying and selling of Africans.

In 2017, this is just unbelievable, we can just pray for this to stop. The world we live in is a peaceful place but the people inside are just cruel and evil. ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ™ðŸ½ðŸ˜ðŸ˜° #PrayForLibya 🇱🇾 🇱🇾 pic.twitter.com/MyW7pj6Pgo
