Former Asante Kotoko forward Yahaya Mohammed has confirmed he’s close to signing for Hearts of Oak.
Yahaya, 29, is poised for a return to the Ghanaian top flight after his contract with Tanzanian side Azam FC was terminated.
"I can't deny that am not in talks with them [Hearts of Oak] and we are still holding talks," Yahaya told Kumasi-based Fox FM
"My move to Hearts of Oak is 90 percent done and my former club Aduana Stars have also contacted me for my services which am also negotiating with them.
''I have not made any decision between the two clubs for now but I will join the club which will make it complete with the 10 percent."
Yahaya joined Azam from Aduana in November 2016 but was released six months into his three-year contract after failing to replicate his impressive scoring form which saw him hit 13 goals for the fire club.
