Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of hardworking centre-back Emmanuel Owusu, from second-tier side Nea Salamina.
The former captain of the Brong-Ahafo outfit penned down a three-year deal on Thursday after completing his medical.
Owusu becomes Coach Steven Polack's first signing in the transfer window ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Emmanuel Owusu had been training with Kotoko since the start of the pre-season and caught the eye of the British trainer who is making frantic efforts to prepare his team for what is very likely to be a tough gruelling season as they will be involved in three competitions including the CAF Confederation Cup.
Owusu, in his first interview moments after signing, shared his excitement with asantekotokosc.com. "I'm delighted to join this club and I'm looking forward to doing my best to help the team achieve their greater laurel among the many other targets set for the coming season.
The Porcupine Warriors have set sights on winning the double (league and MTN FA Cup) and also reaching the money zone of the Caf Confederation Cup.
Kotoko ended last season with only MTN FA Cup trophy, beating arch-rivals 3-1 thanks to a hat-trick from star striker Sadick Adams.
