The seven escapees who are comprised of a Nigerian and six Ghanaians are currently on the run. They are Dickson Ofori, Chubuzor Akwabu, Edem Rockson, Emmanuel Kotey, Prince Osei, Kofi Darko and Atta Kwadwo.

Joy News’ Paa Kwesi Parker-Wilson reports that seven other suspects were in custody but declined to escape for fear of being rearrested and slapped with more serious charges.
He told Joy News TV’s The Pulse programme the police, numbering about 15 who were on duty on Monday, a day after the attack, say they are unperturbed by the attack on the station.
They say policing is a profession they chose and are determined to protect all Ghanaians.
The reporter said the police are hopeful and resolute that they will arrest the hooligans who perpetrated the act.
They are also hopeful that they will devise mechanisms to handle any such situation if it repeats itself.
The police have also assured the public of their safety and called for calm while they stage a hunt for the thirteen.
