Former Hearts of Oak Chairman Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe is looking forward to keenly contested battle between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko in the Super Clash part II.
This is the biggest match on the Ghanaian football calendar with the Phobians travelling to Kumasi to play Kotoko on Sunday. The first leg ended goalless in Accra and Kotoko buoyed by a ten point lead would want to finish off their perennial rivals in style following their unbeaten run in the second half of the league.
Hearts of Oak on the other hand are hoping for a turnaround after winning their last two Glo premier league games. The Phobians are trailing their rivals by 10 points.
According to Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, matches involving the two glamorous clubs in Ghana are always keen and the outcome do not really base on their current form.
“With irrespective of the venue the match will be played, these two sides always give a good account of themselves anytime they meet”. He told JOY Sports
“Kotoko matches with Hearts have always been dicey and it could be anybody’s game this Sunday”
Asante Kotoko are currently leading the premier league standings with 49 points, 10 points clear of rivals hearts who are second place with 39 points.
