This directive is to ensure that, the budding talents do not abandon their education as they seek to become professional footballers.
George Afriyie, who doubles as an Executive Committee of the GFA, has hailed the approved measures.
“They may be talented in football but it is also important that they don't miss their education because they are playing football. He told JOY Sports
“If you want to pursue a career in football, it is very important that you get the basic education in order to be able to develop your talents”.
“It’s very simple; if you are not in school, you will not be considered for registration to feature in the colts league.”
