A 22nd Ghana league title is in sight as Asante Kotoko put their celebration of beating Hearts of Oak on hold and try to extend their lead in the Glo Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors travel to the Accra Sports Stadium to face relegation-threatened Mighty Jets on Saturday in the only premiership game on the day.
With a 12-point lead to their credit and six games remaining, a win for Maxwell Konadu's side against Jets could take them more than closer to the title with the bulk of the matches scheduled for Sunday.
Jets, who slipped into the bottom three on the same day that Kotoko were beating rivals, Hearts 2-1 in the top of the table clash to open the lead, will come out fighting as the threat of relegation looms.
At the same grounds on Sunday, Hearts of Oak will continue their push for second place with a home game against Ebusua Dwarfs, who have endured a difficult week after picking up heavy fines plus a 12-match home ban for crowd troubles.
Second-placed, AshantiGold unbeaten in their last nine games in the league will be searching for answers after two draws in their last two outings ended their fine run of seven consecutive wins.
The Miners will take on an improving Medeama at the Len Clay Stadium.
Berekum Chelsea's title defence appears over but the champions, joint-third on the standings will push till the final day. Chelsea visits Tema Youth at the Tema Stadium.
Relegation blues continues to hover over Bechem United as they host Liberty Professionals at the Bechem Park.
Wa All Stars, who are experiencing a slump in form, having dropped to 8th from 4th position will test the mettle of a resurgent Berekum Arsenal at the Golden City Park.
The Gunners played their way out of relegation zone for now over the past weekend after winning away.
Heart of Lions will face Aduana Stars at the Kpando Park.
Bottom side, Wassaman will be at home to New Edubiase to wrap up the match-day-25 action.
