UK-based Isaac Dogbe, a bantamweight, Duke Micah a flyweight, Suleimana Tetteh a light flyweight and Maxwell Amponsah a heavyweight will represent Ghana in the boxing division at the Olympics.
“What the ministry intends to do is to visit these athletes and I think that will be enough motivation for them ahead of the Games in July”. Said Akwasi Sarpong, Spokesperson of the Sports Ministry
Ghana has qualified four boxers for the Olympics, increasing the number to seven in total for Team Ghana for the London Games.
