President and owner of Glo premier league side Berekum Arsenals Alhaji Yakubu Moro has warned Premier League Broadcast holders Metro TV not to telecast his club's next home game on Sunday against Wassaman United because the safety of their crew members might not be guaranteed.
Berekum Arsenals are place 13th on the league table with just two matches to see off the season and the experienced football administrator is poised to stay in the elite league by all means to elevate him from the relegation zone and believes attention is being focused on his club by the Football Association and the Premier League Board(PLB).
“I feel I am being sabotaged because some faceless persons within the
Federation have vowed to ensure I am relegated from the top-flight league looking at the way I am being treated and the way things are moving.” he told Asempa sports on Tuesday.
The aggrieved Yakubu Moro continued to say that, the schedule for the telecast of the matches was unfair and biased since most of his home matches are shown on TV unlike other teams in the same relegation zone which he says affects gates proceedings.
But his Opponents Wassaman United President Mr Christian Ackah believes there is something up the sleeves of Berekum arsenal hence the prevention of the live telecast.
The local Gunners position has been consistent for the past three seasons and their fate will be decided in their next two fixtures against wassaman and Hearts of oak respectively.
