EDUCARE SCHOLARSHIPS
1.0 Background and Purpose
Educare is a corporate social responsibility initiative of Multimedia Group Ghana Limited (MGGL) intended to support selected ‘brilliant and needy’ young people from the community to enable them complete their education. Launched in November 2008, a total of twenty-four (24) students have benefited from the scheme so far.
Educare is linked with our core value of ‘Community’ – we believe that our business must create sustainable value for the communities within which we work. We consider an investment in the education of young people to be one of the most important contributions to our community. We look for very brilliant students, who, without support, would otherwise not have the opportunity to further their education and bring out their full potential.
The scholarships will be administered to beneficiaries from Senior high schools in Ghana to pursue their chosen courses and may cover all or part of school fees, books, supplies and pocket money.
Areas to be covered for this year are Ashanti, Volta and Eastern Regions.
