Hearts of Oak Chief Executive Officer Mark Noonan has challenged the playing body to improve on their displays starting this weekend when they face off with Asante Kotoko.
After nine matchdays, the Phobians find themselves not in contention of ending their nine-year league trophy drought. They sit 11th on the table just three points away from relegation zone.

They are currently on a three-game winless run with last week stalemate against Bechem United causing some irate fans to attack officials and injuring administrative manager, Hackman Aidoo and Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo in the process.
“We have to perform better. A club like Hearts of Oak should be doing better since we have a lot of ambitions to achieve,” a worried Mark Noonan told Citi Sports.
The club's poor results have been laid at the door of interim manager Henry Wellington with supporters calling for his exit.
“The current head coach is on an interim deal, and he has to prove himself. There is a constant evaluation of coaches who are on the interim, so he will have to prove himself if he wants the job full time.”
Hearts of Oak will take on arch-rival Kotoko at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in the first instalment of this season's Super Clash.
