CPP’s Abu Sakara begins door-to-door campaign

Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, Dr. Abu Sakara has taken his campaign to another level to engage residents on what he plans to do should he be elected the next president in the December 7 polls. The CPP flag bearer was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Lily Sakara Foster, Second National Vice Chair, Rodaline Imoru-Ayarna and some members of his campaign team, in his tour of Sakumono, Tema Community One and the Arts Center. Abu Sakara was also joined by Susan Adu Amankwah, CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tema West, Richster Nii Armah Amarfio, CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Tema East, CPP Parliamentary Candidate for Korley Klotey, Dr Kabu Okai-Davies. Dr Sakara interacted with second hand cloth dealers, hundreds of petty traders and urged them to vote CPP to chart a new course for the country. At the Arts Center, Dr Sakara pledged to upgrade the center to become one of the most attractive tourist centers in the country. He expressed worry about the deplorable nature of the Arts Center which could have been developed to generate more revenue for the economic growth of the people and the nation at large. One man after coming into contact with Dr Sakara took the opportunity to pray to almighty God to grant the CPP flagbearer all his wishes to enable him implement the good policies and plans he has outlined in the CPP manifesto for the development of the country. Some craftsmen donated items to Dr Sakara and urge him to come to their aid if given the nod. “The CPP being a political party that has the interest of the youth at heart, our government will be in the best position to create meaningful jobs that can meet the cost of living of the unemployed youth. The CPP has done it before and we are the only political Party that has the key to ensuring a coherent approach to the management of the socio-economic policies of Ghana” Dr Sakara told the artisans. According him, the CPP’s agenda is to serve the people and that the tour is to afford him the opportunity to interact with residents and explain to them what solutions will be used in addressing the numerous problems they face in their daily lives.
