Black Stars goalkeeper William Amammo has joined Swedish Allsvenskan side Djurgarden for a season's long loan from Coventry City.
The 26-year-old spent a loan spell at Egyptian Premier League side Etesalat last season and had constant run-ins with the team's coach.
The move is also expected to facilitate his chances of obtaining a Swedish passport that pave the way for his move to England.
Amamoo wants to keep fit and remain in the spotlight before the resumption of the combined 2010 Nations Cup/World Cup qualifiers in March.
"There was another deal for me at Norway-Fredrikstad but I chose Sweden because I have been promised more playing time. This will help me to keep my position in the Black Stars," Amamoo told Ghanasoccernet.com
