Social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, is engulfed in sorrow as Ghanaians mourn the passing of renowned waakye seller, Auntie Muni.
Auntie Imoro Muniratu, popularly known as Auntie Muni, was confirmed dead by the family in the early hours of Wednesday, January 3.
She passed away at the age of 72 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra after a brief illness.
In the wake of this heartbreaking news, the micro-blogging site has transformed into a hub of grief, with Ghanaians struggling to come to terms with the loss of the celebrated waakye seller.
